Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

Responsibilities: 

• Provide exceptional patient care. 

• Maintain accurate patient records. 

• Handle initial scheduling and testing procedures. 

• Address urgent care, primary care and occupational health patients’ needs and follow up as required. 

• Communicate appropriately with employers on workers’ comp cases. 

• Document Work Status reports according to Local MD workers’ comp standards. 

• Follow occupational health protocols as indicated on account Work Forms. 

• Perform initial patient screenings, physical examinations, and create assessment plans. 

• Order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests, determining the need for follow-up appointments and further treatment. 

• Prescribe and manage medications and treatments, including psychopharmacological agents. 

• Deliver quality care while adhering to company metrics for documentation, coding, HEDIS measures, patient engagement, and medical expense management.

Qualifications: 

• Minimum of one-year urgent care experience (preferred)

• Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license and board certification

• BLS certification (required)

• ACLS (preferred)
